A moron and an idiot

Once upon a time in Paris, 1910, Maurice and Pierre were having an
argument about which of them was more intelligent.  The two men
made a bet and decided to consult a psychologist to help them
settle the dispute.  The psychologist told them, “Maurice, you are
an idiot” and “Pierre, you are a moron”.  Who won the bet?
